Skills wise yes, I was more thinking if Floyd would do well if they fought in a rougher tougher time. I'm not saying it's good when fighters foul but it is interesting how different fighters deal with an opponent using dirty tricks. I will need to do more research but I would imagine many of Zivic's losses were either robberies or during his decline. Not sure if any were dives due to mob influence? Although I think he does have the most career losses of any title holder in history?
Even back then, a referee would often protect a clean fighter from a dirty fighter, especially if the clean fighter was connected.
And you have taken in the ass from 50 different men hence your name .so whats your point?... Zivic had well over 200 fights and fought LaMotta 4 times at mw , and your boyfriend at mw , zero exp there right? , ,, that big GGG fight he wanted and then backed out of ?? , and Zivic had hundreds of street fights with his brothers... and your boyfriend Floyd cherry picked many fights ... so continue to learn the sport and understand Floyd doesn't get into the ring and take this fight with Zivic ... you ****ing ***** .. he couldn't handle JLCs strength at 135 and got the Vegas venue pushed thru. imagine bigger stronger and tougher and can ****ing box .. Zivic would throw Floyd up against the ropes and beat the **** out of him ... .learn the sport or pack it in .. you and NoNeck, " you 2 combined dont even make a half wit "... you like that one @mcvey ? I stole that one from you .... hahahah
@surfinghb People just bowl over the Reality & Facts about some other Era's & Periods in Boxing History... they exclude dozens of great Fighters on the Records of Past Champions & Contenders as though they aren't anything, just because history only rewards Winners, but many, many of those forgotten Contenders & Fringe Contenders, proved their Skill & Mettle in DOZENS of Great performances & fights against the Hero's History remembers. are there greats in Modern Times & Recent years, of course there are, But MOST of them, NOT All of them, would have fallen by the wayside 'IF' they too HAD Too Compete in Hundreds of Fights... i.e Roy would have met a good few Tarvers very early in his career, which may well have changed a career trajectory. it is just that simple and more importantly it is RECORDED History, those men have already proved themselves in such environments, most modern fighters haven't HAD Too!!!
Don't be bothered this guy is nuts, he flamed me for saying Mayweather may have a chance against Hearns, even though I said I was playing devils advocate. I think he is drunk or punchy, but he does make interesting posts sometimes lol. I think it is just his vibe and a hazing he gives people he thinks are young or new to the sport, even though I am 45!
Well, apparently not enough in the opinion of some people - as I'm regularly told, that I don't know what I'm talking about, by those know-it-all "historians", who believe they have the "right" answer to everything!
Hi Buddy. You have nothing to worry about ( not that you are ) your posts are on point and instructive, you neither boast, nor put another poster down, your posts are polite and speak of someone who knows our sport very well, I would rather listen to you than the blowhards, and know it alls, that puncture their posts with profanity and derogatory remarks about people they don't know, look forward to hearing your posts, as always. stay safe mate, chat soon.
