I think Holyfield gets under Ali's skin and exploits his mistakes

Fergy, In all honesty, it is hard to comprehend. He comes back every so often and appears to be a legit poster, then he goes on a tirade spewing hatred about Muhammad Ali. In my working days in the Mental Health Unit prior to retirement, there were patient's like so called James Page who were diagnosed with Poor Impulse Control. Hopefully in all seriousness he gets all the help he needs, I know the mods are looking at this fellow.

Pug, This so called James Page is a retread troll, try not to take him serious, he is in his deranged mind targeting Muhammad Ali, possibly an old Vietnam vet who is fixated on Ali, it is common in Mental illness.

 

If anything, despite disadvantages in height and reach, the quicker and more mobile Holyfield outboxred Bowe at range at times. It was when they fought in close that Bowe's size/weight advantage began to tell.

Frazier seemed pretty effective at using his head, albeit nowhere near as dirty as Holyfield. A prime Frazier was only able to beat a rusty Ali, two better versions of 70s Ali beat Frazier.

You're also underrating Ali's strength here. Holyfield was nowhere near as strong as someone like Foreman, and Ali outmuscled him in the clinch numerous times. Holyfield would have his hands full there as well.

 

That is a bit of a point. As far as physical strength in a clinch, Ali was real strong. I recall multiple opponents saying they were surprised by it.

 

That doesn't mean you have to spew hatred on Holyfield. On page 2 of this thread you said he, James Page, didn't bother anybody, but he seems to be bothering you greatly. Very uncharacteristic from you.

There's not many guys that could match up well with prime Ali. Joe Louis, maybe prime Mike Tyson, maybe mental giant Rocky Marciano, maybe on point Jack Johnson, peak Frazier, peak Lewis.. only guys like that.. and Holyfield.

Holyfield is underrated in many ways. And in the intelligence department too.. I think he would laugh at Ali's schtick.

 

I leave you to your own faculties. I will walk away from both sites, people do have a right to their opinions but Page has been before. Adios to the friends that I have made over the last three years. This time it is real, good luck.

Well, we count on you and know this is just an aberration. If somebody insists on calling Ali by Clay.. that shouldn't deserve even more than one reply. That's somebody jerking off in public, is what that status is.
