That was the biggest quit job if i ever seen one. He coudlve got up. Got up immediately at 10. Walked fine. He knew what was coming after he was going to get up and took the easy way out. He could feel the speed and power of tank and wanted no part of it.
I think he was legitimately hurt. Kind of had the fight knocked out of him there. It’s a shame because Ryan was started to pop davis with some good right hands. Meh… oh well. At the end of the day there’s a reason floyd encouraged davis to take that fight. Lol
The punch would have hurt but if he can get up that quick at 10 then he can struggle up before hand, no doubt.
No big deal, he had very slim chances of winning that fight in the first place. I can’t really blame a guy for not wanting to be on the receiving end of ko of the year.
Really? Bigger than Ramos faking against Marquez, or DLH fake screaming in pain to a soft body shot from hopkins?
He got up as soon as the fight was waived off. He chose not to continue. It is only speculation as to why, but I'm guessing he didn't want to get stretchered out.
You could hit Tyson Fury to the body with a dump truck and he wouldn't notice. Garcia needs to get some belly fat. Heavyweights rock
Ryan has the physical attributes but no brain or heart. He has a pretty decent chin too even though he was knocked down. He took that punch very well and got up with seemingly little damage done. But as soon as that moment was over, so was any confidence he had. He packed it in after that.
Garcia didn't quit. I keep reading on these threads how Garcia got up right after the ten count like that proved something. Garcia didn't take a knee because he couldn't stand up. He took a knee because of the same pain that forces so many others to take a knee from body punches. They were in no position to fight at that point. During the referee's count Garcia grimaced at six and then again at nine. He was still hurting.
