Jerry Quarry - Gerry Cooney - Tommy Morrison, Round Robin?

I don't understand how Quarry's size would be an issue against Morrison at least. Morrison for the majority of his career was in the 210s to 220s.

 

Agree with those picking Quarry. Morrison loses to both.

 

I’m thinking if Morrison decides to fight like he did against Foreman he might have enough of a height & reach advantage to give Quarry some trouble. Cooney I think would be a problem because of his size but I doubt he could get Quarry out. I’d favor Quarry against Morrison & make him a slight favorite against Cooney. They’re all close fights to me.

You're probably the right person to ask because you have some knowledge of the era, but did Mac Foster ever beat a top ten heavyweight? It's my understanding he was number one contender, but I can't find ONE top tenner he actually beat.

And you are correct Big Mac did not beat a top ten contender, the way he blew guys out like Jack O'Halloran in one round, mustve really made an impression on Ring Magazine's Nat Fleischer as it did pretty much everyone else in the boxing world, of course so did the rock thrower as Mike Quarry called him Jose Ibar Urtain of Spain.
