Gervonta Davis is now in Ring's Top 10 Pound for Pound..

The Ring is on his death bed... They put Gervonta there to clout chase and bank on his popularity they did the same with Broner some years back...They took Estrada out even though he has a better resume than Gervonta if you gonna take someone out take Taylor or Charlo out but Estrada is the lesser known fighter so it was the easy choice to make... The Ring is a joke.

I would put Haney in the top ten before Tank. If Haney beats Loma, then he definitely should make the list.

His biggest win was against a 24 year old prospect and has never faced another top fighter at his weight. No way he’s fighting another top fighter next or a Cruz rematch. Cruz beat him or at least tied in their last fight. Does that make him a top ten PFP?

 

Jermell Charlo has had 4 fights in 3 1/2 years, and two of the fights were against the same guy.

How does he end up on a top 10 anything? Ok I realize COVID was part of the two years but then
he had 3 fights in 2 yrs.

 

Estrada has lost one fight in the last 11 years and that was a majority decision loss against SSR who he later avenged. He beat Cuadras twice, beat ATG Chocolatito twice, beat SSR when he was in the pound for pound top ten, amongst other quality wins over contenders and some former Champions and somehow in the minds of those dopes in the Ring a win over not much more than a prospect Ryan Garcia is better than all the work Estrada has done in the last decade. Like I said if you want to put Gervonta there take Charlo or Taylor out never Estrada.

 

You are right he is an exceptional talent and most of the guys on here know that they just want to hate him because of his association with Floyd.

 

The issue is that he doesn't really have a single elite win. There are fighters with multiple elite wins not on the list right now.

 

Broner jumped to #6 over Pacquiao, Wladimir and Bradley from beating Demarco. Crazy stuff.

 

Tank is knocking on the door but a win over Garcia is not the key to let him in.

 

No problem with him being there. Lesser fighters than him have been on the list before.
