If Tyson doesn't stop him in the first half of the fight - Tyson didn't really carry his power into the late rounds (he doesn't have any KO's after round 7) - I could see Conn frustrating him and TKO-ing him in the late rounds. Conn was a first-rate boxer with impeccable movement and defense, his performance against Louis (up until the 13th round) was one of the greatest in history. Conn certainly wouldn't have been afraid of him.

 

Joe Louis, the Boxer-Puncher, had a lot of trouble with the Boxer, Conn. No surprise there. But Mike Tyson? Mike's style is very bad for Billy! Boxer Billy Conn is not lasting long in this fight. Tyson will seek and destroy him, without mercy. In my humble opinion, this would end sometime between the 1st and 4th round.

 

Definitely a possibility.

 

A Tyson-Spinks finish is a much more likely possibility.

 

Peak (1988) Mike Tyson would be a nightmare for much better fighters than Billy Conn. I'd be surprised if the Spinks scenario didn't happen.

 

Billy Conn is not Michael Spinks.

Billy conn with steroids or not? things have to be equal. Well with steroids or not and using small gloves I think tyson mops the floor with him

 

It ends identically to the Spinks fight. Although I think Conn would try and put up a bit more of a fight than Spinks did, I still think he wouldn't see the second round.

 

Spinks throws punches like a sissy.
