The bigger issue is Shalom has no idea what he is doing. Yes he can run an event but he Is in with seriously experienced operators and has no plan. Hearn managed to get by back in the day a he had less competitors in the UK and had his dad to lean on.

If Queensbury were going to promote George Warren the way they have. Sky should have given him the deal. They could have also split the deal between Wasserman and Boxxer. But he needs some support ASAP as the money must be running out fast.

 

Boxxer are quickly being derailed here and exposed as amateurs.
Threw a load of money at it to sign fighters that don't sell , and the ones that might are pulled out of decent fights. shocking.

 

Shalom's main support and backing coming into the sport was built off people wanting to to see someone come in and stick to to Matchroom/Queensberry rather than anything else. It could have been anyone brought in by Sky and it would have been the same.

Poor cards and rubbish like this will soon see that support dwindle pretty quickly if it hasn't already.

Fully understand the have Johnny Wish. However he by no means made Matchroom what they are. They are close to a billion dollar company and most of that value was generated when Wish left. But the constant state of the Boxxer/Sky cards and the money that has been wasted giving Joseph Parker deep six figures to fight Jack Massey.

Clarke needs to start having some meaningful fights,he's 31 and an accomplished amateur,he doesn't need to be in 4,6 or 8 rounders,he needs to start challenging for some titles,british commonwealth etc

Because they offered him a 3 fight deal with the 3rd fighting being against Fraser. So they wanted to build up Fraser a bit more before feeding Wardley to him. Why on earth would Wardley do that.

Heard a rumour today that Fraser was so angry yesterday he has put it to his team if there is a way he can leave his contract

 

Ben should start listening to Johnny if he's got that knowledge in his team.
