One of Kenny's worst refereeing jobs in this bout. He was barking contradicting commands, had no physical control it was a poor poor refereeing job. This content is protected Fury comes in with a jab then tries another but gets caught with Wilde'rs underhooks and the ref takes a point?! Also manages to break in-between them just as Fury creates space himself missing an uppercut. Terrible job. The way Kenny protected Wilder with extended breaks was hilarious.
Not only are you are being extremely disingenuous with this point, you are also flat out lying. Kenny Bayless was ALREADY rightfully breaking both fighters apart when Fury threw that uppercut. Tyson Fury did not create any space to throw an uppercut there, as he had one arm wrapped around Wilder's head whilst digging his head into Wilder's head. Fury punched on the break and quite frankly, that itself is worth of a point deduction, add in the head grinding that he was doing and I have no problem with Bayless in this instance. Sure, there are legitimate criticisms of Kenny Bayless in this fight, but this is not one of them.
You really want me to clip all the desperate breaks Kenny had going on? lol. This isn't the only instance, the guy literally started screaming stop and jumped in to save Wilder for no reason when Fury had him on the ropes and was just pummelling him.
Bro I think you are too emotionally invested in this. I already said that there are many legitimate criticisms of Kenny Bayless in this fight. However, what I said about this clip you posted still stands. Bayless was correct to separate them here. Fury was wrong for having one arm wrapped around Wilders pinhead whilst grinding his head into Wilders dented skull, Fury was wrong for punching on the break. Bayless was correct to deduct a point even though his reasoning seams to be off (I think he said for pushing Wilders head down when he could have said punching on the break or use of the head). It's just a shame that the one clip you posted just does not show any of the evidence that actually exists.
Argueably, Bayless has a history of questionable judgments in the ring. Not sure anyone in this forum would do half as well. Not an easy job.
They say "protect yourself at all times". Kenny is a bad referee in general, he protected Wilder in this fight, but whatever, when you're mauling your opponent you don't care about a point, especially when you're winning on points convincingly as it happened with Wlad. We can question was Wilder in a knockdown because he was unable to balance and was held by the ropes, but it was obvious he was hitting the canvas with his sissy *ss - timestamped: This content is protected
Can clearly see Baylis saying stop stop. Punching on the break, well within his rights to take a point.
