The problem is that Devin looked 3 weight classes bigger then a 35 year old who hadnt fought in over a year and was able to out muscle Devin especially down the stretch.

 

Its a trick you see a lot with american fighters, broner for example.
An american 3 weight world champion is really just a protected young man with bulemia

No one cares what Oscar thinks or respects the opinions of someone high on coke. This was a a very close fight that conceivably have gone either way ultimately coming down to the interpretation of individual judges on the night. I knew what I was seeing was a close fight though I scored it marginally in Haney’s favour. Haney’s body shots were the difference slowing down Loma who was coming on like a train to eke out the decision.

 

Good luck with the appeal which I’d not going anywhere.

 

This is the most realistic interpretation of the fight.

 

Robbery and a real shame. Older, smaller guy fighting a younger man who looked two weight classes bigger, winning close rounds and putting on a great performance gets robbed. I turned off the volume because the announcers were extremely biased talking gibberish. I’ve been a fan of boxing my whole life but I’m done. Will still watch occasional fights (if Usyk Fury fight, etc) but I’m done. It’s more corrupt than ever.

This was a close one but Loma deserved the decision. A draw where they run it back again would have been acceptable but this was a robbery. **** this sport, boxing is rotten and cannot be cured.

Dont get me wrong Devin is very talented but I agree with you- had they been the same size or close to Devin actually would have got stopped or the fikght would have been one sided.

 

Loma barely threw a punch in the 12th round with the fight hanging in the balance after rocking Haney in the previous round. He simply gassed against the bigger man. What is your explanation for his performance in the 12th round where he threw away the fight than?

 

He hadn't posted up though 80 pages then comes in and makes fun of Loma....an Orthodox Christian who just lost to the Muslim. Boon had made quite a few posts praising Islam previously. His prejudice was obvious to all and I'm glad he received a justly deserved ban.
