How was round 10 awarded to Haney against Loma?? Corruption

I ain't hating on Morretti , how can I get these lucrative gigs to do an absolute **** job and still get paid? Las Vegas commission, please let me know, I'm available to be bought .

 

Apparently Moretti is 78 years old. Perhaps it isn't corruption, but has more to do with age. Moretti has been judging boxing since 1977.

 

That was disgraceful. It was as clear as day that Lomachenko won the 10th round by a mile.

How can anyone explain it in any other way other than corruption?

This was a Canelo/GGG repeat. Arum will pretend he is outraged. In reality, everyone want to give the decision to the younger, more marketable fighter. Lomachenko doesn't have a lot of time left in boxing and he lives in a war ravaged country. Can't have him winning the fight.

Like that dumb broad scoring for Clenelo 118-110 against GGG, she should have been suspended a year or more off the bat

 

Moretti needs to be put out of his misery. He’s ancient and rotten to the core. He is part of the cancer killing the sport. Scumbag fans who support these decisions are equally at fault. This wasn’t the worse robbery I’ve seen in recent years but that doesn’t make it right. I was cool with either fighter winning as long as the decision was just. This was not a just decision. **** boxing. They aren’t getting any more of my money.

 

Don't conflate Moretti's scoring of round 10 with "these decisions". We all disagree with Moretti's scoring of round 10, but the scoring of a 7-5 UD for Haney is acceptable.

 

You have to try hard to come up with six rounds for Haney. Moretti is a scumbag who deserves to be shot in the kneecaps. Maybe hit in the kneecaps with a hammer. I’m getting soft in my old age.

 

Get a grip. Moretti is 78 years old. And his scoring of round 10, while wrong, had no bearing on the decision.

 

30 years ago Dave Moretti was judging fights. If you had a panel with some combination of him, Jerry Roth, Dalby Shirley or Chuck Giampa, anything was possible.

 

Well "incredibly bad judging" even if you don't think it is corrupt is simply inexcusable in any fight, let along a fight of this magnitude.

 

It's interesting that Moretti was also one of the judges that screwed Jeff Fenech over in one of the most corrupt decisions ever seen, when he was robbed blind attempting to win a 4th world title in a 4th weight class against Azumah Nelson in 1991.

The decision was overturned 30 years later but that is very minor reparation for Fenech.

Moretti has form.
