Beterbiev has devastating power. Can he stop Norton like Shavers and Cooney did.

Norton would beat the living **** out of Beterbiev.

Norton would most likely exploit Beterbiev's head movement with stiff hard jabs with a mix of overhands/uppercuts once he gets his timing down.

Prime Ken was cracked by the top 5 hardest hitters in HW history.

Hitters so fearsome that they each take up multiple slots in the top 5.

IMO - no. Shavers is a phenom, and Gerry Cooney is 50 pounds heavier than Artur Beterbiev.

I was thinking about the smallest men who could beat Norton in his prime and Beterbiev seemed like a good candidate due to his power and overall skillset.

Norton was kayoed by Garcia pre prime but probably physically reasonably close to his peak.

To quote Norton he claimed he was always tore up prior to Ali and sometimes split some hot dogs for dinner with his kid. Maybe he took the fight short notice? Hungry and tired. Maybe he was fine and got sparked I don’t know.

Beterbiev was put down hard and on wobbly legs vs Callum Johnson, and was pushed to the brink by Anthony Yarde. Theres no way Beterbiev beats a prime Ken Norton.

    I prefer Norton's overhand right to Beterbiev's.

    Norton by mid-rounds stoppage.

If you knew anything about boxing, you'd know Garcia only knocked him out because the bell rung but the referee's back was turned, allowing Garcia to seize the opportunity and hit an unsuspecting Norton with a barrage of punches.

Beterbiev wouldn't be that hard of a hitter by heavyweight standards, I doubt he hits harder than Ali for example. Despite his reputation Norton didn't have a glass chin at all. He's the type of fighter that could probably handle Holyfields hardest shots, but not Lewis's.

Come on, Norton was way bigger and would outbox Beterbiev.
