Dominant round from Jimenez, bringing non stop pressure, decent head movement, and landing looping hooks to the head and body, prompting Artem to hold on several occasions. Artem looking gassed, isn't landing much, aside from a few one twos, he goes down on a push, Jimenez dancing a jig late... literally.

The first minute, David landed a few lunging rights, Artem lands an uppercut, takes over the second minute, but mostly jabbing, David comes roaring back the last minute, lands a flurry late to steal a close one. He landed the heavier shots.

Jimenez started and ended the round relatively well, but Dalakian controlled the pace and landed a series of nasty looping hooks in the middle that seemed to shake up Jimenez a bit. Although David certainly closed the better of the two, and almost stole it back.

Dalakian trying to keep him off, but David is relentless, while Artem was throwing and landing one twos here and there, I thought David's looping hooks and sustained attack late was enough to edge it in his direction.

Nightmare of a round to score, Artem probably laded the much cleaner work, but he was also relentlessly negative, held constantly, while Jimenez was pressing forward, landing anywhere he can, roughing him up, and caught him with a couple of eye catching hooks. Probably just enough to edge it.

Even though I thought he won, not sure this rises to the level of a straight up robbery, There were several rounds that were genuine toss ups.

 

I just went back and rewatched Beterbiev vs. Johnson, the shot that sent Johnson's head through the ropes was a rabbit punch, then he cracked the living **** out of Callum as he disentangled himself from them. Then the shot that KO'd Johnson in the 4th, was damned close to illegal. I think he was going for a rabbit punch, and hit the top of his head by mistake. Dirty *******.
