Anyone else think that Conlan could've switched stance at points in the fight? Built on his proven momentum?

Seemed to be dictating momentum but just too predictable in his stance

Conlan is not made for professional boxing. He’s got Swiss chess defense and his chin is fragile. He doesn’t have enough power to keep guys off of him at the elite level.

I know he’s only been KO’ed twice, but they were brutal KOs. I don’t think he can keep doing this without developing some brain damage in the long run.

He’s better off being a commentator or something.

Guys who have feather fists usually box and move and try to win fights on points or accumulation late stoppages.

Adam Booth has Conlon fighting as if he was Beterbiev. He's been brutally sprawled out twice now for trading with power punchers

Lopez seems to have a lot of acne on his back like his compatriot JMM.

If you have problems in a fight, switching stance is not a good idea.

This is right for 99.999999% of the fighters, at least.

Over the last few years, too many of Booths fighters have come in with very flat performances either over trained, or under conditioned. Lots of weight making issues also. Great boxing brain but feel his days as a top trainer are behind him.

See Conlan is getting some criticism, which is surprising as he is a decent boxer but just not elite. He's been beaten by two good boxers. I don't think there's any shame in that but I think we can now see he's not top level.

Lopez is interesting. He actually does what coaches tell you what not to do. Squares up, chin hanging and over extends but it just works. it's so effective and having power helps too. Like watching this kid fight.

Conlon needs to ne carefully matched if he's going to continue fighting . Get some decent wins over some C+ fighters and get a bigger payday later. As you said ,he's not top level and rushing in again against another high level opponent could spell doom

100%. Funny thing is if Conlan boxed from the traditional stnce and moved using his skills he may have had a chance. Booth style is all wrong for him and all the fighters he has had bar David Haye. Manny Robles (former coach) is actually a far better trainer that Booth.
