The fight wasn’t a robbery accept it and move on. I'm tired of people calling close fights robberies it's like a lame trend that needs to die. Real robberies happen in boxing this wasn't one of them. Like I always say Charlo Harrison was a close fight that could've gone either way just like this one. Why didn't people call that fight a robbery? I'll tell you why because they want to pick and choose which fights to call robberies based on if they like the fighter or not. People wanted to see charlo lose so they rejoiced when Harrison got the nod. While people like me accepted the judges decision and moved on even though i scored the fight for charlo and thought he won. Yet I'm the one with the agenda? Lmfao! I've been consistent stating close fights aren't robberies others like you not so much they pick and choose. If you're going to say Haney loma was a robbery then you have to say charlo Harrison was one to.
It was a robbery it wasn't really that close there has been nobody credible that thought Haney legit won don't you understand that? You are going to have to accept that nobody is going to move on from Loma getting robbed Haney will never get credit for the tainted victory the whole thing will be remembered as another black eye for boxing so people who share your agenda are the ones that are going to have to move on. Harrison Charlo was not a robbery I distinctly remember plenty of experts including Teddy Atlas scoring it for Harrison. You are the one picking and choosing what fights to call robberies even if you think that a fight is close you are ok with the man winning less rounds getting the W? Will you admit that Canelo GGG 1 was a robbery? or does that not suit your agenda?
Agreed on difference in weight and reach disparity then? I don't think I ever in my life considered Lomachenko to be the most skilled boxer ever. In fact being the nostalgic old fart at my core, I'd deny it vehemently in favour of the likes of Pep, Charles, Moore, Duran etc.
Why keep saying they’re going to appeal? Why not just actually appeal it? If they want a hearing and the ability to present their side/evidence, they first have to take the action of filing a formal appeal. The commission isn’t going to convene because they say they’re going to do something … they have to actually do it.
Floyd’s win over Canelo was an absolute masterclass. That said, I'm not convinced that the Canelo who fought PBF is better than Haney. Was he more accomplished? Yes. Better? Maybe, maybe not. Moreover, we should not overlook some rather significant physical advantages Floyd enjoyed in that fight, namely superior hand and foot speed. Haney, despite being the larger man, is as fast Lomachenko. That distinction is not insignificant. Floyd and Canelo are also of similar height (both are typically listed as 5'8 or so). Haney, on the other hand, is taller than Loma by 2-3 inches, depending on the source, and enjoyed a roughly six inch reach advantage. Floyd possessed a slight reach advantage over Canelo. Again, this isn't to discredit Floyd's schooling of Canelo. Rather it's to demonstrate that the Floyd-Canelo analogy is inexact at best and rather misleading at worst.
I said nation not city, so you're debating yourself. Maybe you think this is the flag of Las Vegas... https://media.kjzz.org/s3fs-public/ukraine-flag-getty-20220304.jpg Haha ! Go back to arguing with yourself.
What does it matter what ‘nation’ someone is associated with? Great champions have fought all over the world in front of judges and with refs from all over. But Loma, who has never even fought in his native land, and who lives in the UNITED STATES and has fought the vast majority of his career in the UNITED STATES — and in particular in Las Vegas quite often, is according to you supposed to be considered a foreigner who cannot be judged or reffed by people from the very country where he lives? Tell me how judging and ref assignments should be made: The commission or sanctioning body selects a committee to determine what country a fighter is ‘most associated with’? No matter that he actually resides about 300 miles away and could easily drive there, or fly there in less than an hour? Stop making excuses.
