Team Bivol Says No To Canelo Rematch Terms—Targeting Beterbiev!!!

Good glad to see Bivol has integrity good for him & our sport/
Now Canelo needs to nut up & fight Benevidez.

If you were Bivol, which one of the following would you prefer?

a) Fight Canelo and get $10M paycheck
b) Fight someone else from US or UK and get $5M paycheck
c) Fight Beterbiev and get $500K paycheck

 

Good for Bivol! The fight everyone wants to see is Beterbiev and he knows it. A fight between Bivol and Beterbiev would soak up the oxygen in the boxing world leaving Canelo on the outside of the candy store looking in . If he gets the winner which I think will be Bivol he still can't beat him at 175 pounds which leaves Ginger Lynn with Benavidez at 168 , a fight he honestly doesn't want. I find it curiously pleasing to see his options beginning to narrow,

All he has to do is stay upright.

 

It's sad that I can't think of any scenario that involves Canelo, he just can't be trusted, period. I think Bivol should stay as far away from him as possible and fight Beterbiev.

Now, I say this as a fan who wants to see the best go at it. I could ****ing care less about how much money they make.

 

The Beterbiev is way above a $500k fight and you know it.

It's one of THE fight that all boxing fans want so that automatically puts it as $5m apiece.

The only way it flops is if Top Rank win the purse bids and stick it on regular ESPN.

Hearn/DAZN have to win this purse bid and purse the fight in the Middle East.

It makes money everywhere but in America.

Bivol waited for Beterbiev to get old and might never fight him. That's a fact. What a warrior.

 

OMFG some of you are ridiculous. Posts implying Canelo is ducking Bivol and going to fight some bum is just so beyond stupid. Canelo has the best resume in the game right now and it isn't even close. Yeah for sure he lost a few but only in the Bivol fight and the Mayweather fight could you say he lost convincingly.

Props to Bivol for not wanting the fight for sure because most guys would take it in a heartbeat and he already knows it is easy money. But don't sit here and act like Canelo is looking to fight bums when he is chasing the guy who dominated him in his prime. You just look stupid.

Yarde is from UK, thus Yarde fight makes more money than Bivol fight. Because Yarde is popular in UK. Nobody knows and cares about Bivol, although he beat Canelo. I have Russian friends and even they don't know who Bivol is. Unlike UK, boxing is not popular in Russia.

Canelo vs Bivol 2 will generate lots of revenue, because The Superstar Canelo lost to an unknown fighter from Russia. Now people will pay again to see if Canelo avenges his loss to that still unknown fighter from Russia.

 

And even there's still a very good chance that Beterbiev even at 39 would be all wrong for him. BIvol has no power, nothing to deter Beterbiev. If age catches up to Beterbiev overnight it likely will be getting caught by a big puncher.

 

So you must be one of those who agrees with Canelo saying he doesn't want to fight other Mexicans.
