Seems like it’s only a few posters on here that had it for RP. General consensus across all fans scorecards was 7-5 taylor.
Some wide scoring in his favour on there too.

let’s not reinvent history lads. That’s more for the general site.

Not reinventing anything mate. If you know (proper know) boxing it was home cooking, hence why Taylor has never called his name since. Wouldn’t dare.

Don’t tell me, you had Haney winning a few weekends ago, yes? Now do one you Toby.

Hands down our best P4P apart from the last one. Looking forward to Saturday.

I can confirm everything is good. On holiday at the moment actually. Didn’t particularly appreciate your smug messages, however for all I know you might be a big Taylor fan and if you are I’m with you mate. He is top drawer, clearly our best P4P and an animal who has beaten everyone at 140lbs. The Prograis decision however, has got to be Sky TV / UK judges home cooking, because he was 5 rounds down after 7 and I’m not pro either boxer, but I do want fair decisions and that night, me and a lot of other neutral fans thought it should have gone to Prograis.

Great fight. I was there live and watched it on tele the next day and felt that whilst Prograis just nicked the rounds he won, Taylor won his clearly which probably nudged it towards Taylor on the scorecards. I don’t see how anyone could have anything either side of a 115-113 either way. Brilliant fight.

One thing I do recall though is that the Sky commentators seemed biased towards Prograis.

Great post. It’s one of the most underrated fights of the last decade for me. Number 1 v number 2 with pretty much everything at stake. Two elite boxers. I bet it was great watching them up close.

He looks in tremendous shape and I'm hoping he can remind everyone of just how ****ing good he is this weekend.

Then hopefully get the rematch with Catterall with a good camp behind him this time and put that to bed.

You do realise that Fury's 'win' over McDermott was a far greater miscarriage of justice than Taylor Catterall? You big winder upper.

That’s a nice post Jim, I do like all our debates on here with everyone. I’ll be honest I think Taylor is mustard, he basically cleaned out that division and all of them were undefeated when he did it. Yes he let himself down last time against Catterall, I had him clearly losing that.

If I was him I wouldn’t be rushing to 147lbs just yet, maybe until the elite at welter move up to light middle themselves haha.

Really hoping he wins on Saturday. I’ve never been a Lopez fan. Like his Dad, he’s an idiot.
