How in the **** am I tasked in anno domini MMXXIII with making a RBR for a Don King Promotions event? :dunno Seriously, is this repulsive crook bathing in the blood of virgins every day like a modern freaking Countess Báthory or something?

Dorian Bostic, a slick American wannabe shoulder-roller with a 13-0 record, just got upset by Ecuadorian-Minnesotan pro boxer & mixed martial artist Joshua James Clark Montoya.

Bostic threw a tantrum about it, but he deserved the loss. Lots of posing with his hands down and attempting to shoeshine with flashy combos after slipping shots - problem is Clark was actually able to both land past his defenses and avoid many of his counters. Outboxed, outfought, outhustled and outmaneuvered him.

Bob Alexander on play by play with former WBA lightweight champs (from different eras) Nate Campbell and Ray Mancini doing color commentary.

Broner and Rigondeaux are both in ridiculous mismatches; neither has any business dragging their opponent a full ten rounds.

You can't even find full fight footage for either of them, barely any highlights.

Rigo is a -2000 fave over Charlie Clemente-Andino, and coming off a brutal KO1 in his previous comeback bout in February. Broner is an even wider -3500 over Hutchinson. :shakehead:

Yet another DKP special. Anybody that paid for a ticket is a chump. (and even in Florida, they couldn't find too many chumps willing to stoop quite this low - virtually all the dinner tables around the ring are surrounded by empty seats. They're maybe at 5% capacity of this little venue)

At $40 this is a bargain to watch live a piece of boxing history.

Imagine being a young fighter in your twenties now, and thinking "Yeah, sign me up for a show promoted by Don King - the guy that has literally been a walking meme about corruption in the sport for as long as there's been Internet...no doubt I'll get paid fairly!"

Who would have thought Bob Arum and Don King would both still be promoting into their 90s.... as the saying goes.

I mean, Arum never stopped doing it at the highest level and being a major player in the game.

As much as neither Broner nor Rigondeaux is super relevant at the moment, I'm surprised he can still wrangle together a pair of names as big as theirs under one roof.

For a long time he was desperately clinging to just a few heavyweight pretender hopefuls, throwing whatever he could at the wall to see what might stick and net him another paper championship (rode Bermane Stiverne until the wheels fell off, and his next project was trotting out Trevor Bryan as something worthwhile until DDD crushed him, a year ago this Sunday. Kinda figured that'd be the last we heard of Teflon's ashy old ass...)

Speaks to their laughable opponents. Rigo fighting a guy who has been off 7 years. Broner fighting a part time club fighter.

What's your prediction on the outcome of the Broner fight?
