    Bivol agreed to all Canelos terms to make that fight happen. When it did Bivol whipped Canelo's butt, he schooled him. So now Bivol is in the driving seat If Canelo wants the rematch he'll have to agree to Bivols demands its that simple. The truth is Canelo is reluctant to fight Bivol at 168 because he fears he cannot beat him & all his titles he scrounged will be gone. He'll also have to give Bivol a far bigger paycheck too.
    Canelo is renown for making excuse why he cannot fight the legitimate opponents. Looks like those great Mexican fans that disowned him after the cowardly way he handed back the WBC belt, were right about him

    Bivol took Clenelo's soul. If Clenelo wants his soul back, he's gonna need to pay with them belts at 168.

    If Bivol took Canelo's soul, then how do you explain Canelo's dominance in his last 2 fights? The Bivol loss may have been the best thing to happen to him. He's coming off of two fantastic performances vs quality opposition, he's recharged and ready to take on the biggest challenges possible. This is not something someone does after having his soul taken. Someone who has their soul taken fades into obscurity. Canelo has done the complete opposite. He's even more dedicated and motivated than ever.

    Clenelo beat GGG in the third fight, but GGG was older and slower and was fighting at 168. Even then, most people had it as a very competitive affair. The Ryder win wasn't that impressive, imo.

    Clenelo is a little ginger brat who paid Bivol a packet of peanuts for the first fight compared to what he paid Caleb Plant, Callum Smith, and BJS 2.0 all of whom earned way more even though Bivol had made seven defenses of his world title and had a better or much or better resume than them. So Bivol repaid him by whooping his ass without even having to move out of second gear for most of the fight and Clenelo was completely powerless to do anything about it.

    To be frank, Clenelo looked utterly clueless, lost and bereft of ideas. It was literally man vs boy, or father and son, and everytime his impudent son tried to step out of his lane daddy was quick to put him back firmly in his place.

    But as always, as we all know, when you fight Clenelo you're not only fighting him you're also fighting his judges and those thieving scumbags predictably tried to rob Bivol in a fight he dominated and even toyed with Clenelo for most of it.

    Then Clenelo made excuses about the weight and injures (certain fighters or types of fighter are allowed to do that among other things) which Bivol would get absolutely crucified for and labeled a sore loser crybaby had he lost and done the same or even if the judges had robbed him. So Bivol said OK son I'll fight you at your weight next time so there can be no excuses and also with something on the line for me to win seeing as I don't deserve higher purses even after whooping the ass of the P4P king in their adopted backyard :facepalm:

    Of course Bivol deserves a bigger cut in the rematch. I don't mean bigger share than Clenelo does. That's not an argument I've ever made. But bigger than his $2m guaranteed purse which allegedly could've risen to $5m after his share of the PPV. That $2m guaranteed is the same Juan Ryder earned against Clenelo which allegedly could've been as high as $3.8m after the PPV split.

    Plant earned $10m for facing Clenelo. Smith allegedly $8m-$10m. And BJS 2.0 allegedly $8m.

    So why in god's name shouldn't Bivol get a much bigger cut than the first fight? People expect certain fighters to allow themselves to be treated like a piece of meat and just bow to the every demand and stipulation their boys make :facepalm:

    He deserves much more than Plant, Smith and BJS 2.0 got paid but they want him to take less than them even after whooping Clenelo's ass and we know there's a very high chance he'll get robbed this time and all Clenelo will likely have to do is win 1 more round than he did the first time even though he barely won any.

    Exactly. Fight Beterbiev. Why is no one shouting from the rooftops for AB here? Everyone is crying on Bivol's shoulder - out of spite for Canelo. Fcuk Canelo. Bivol backed himself in an awful corner here.
