    As per Badou Jack's tweet

I won’t be fighting Canelo next. They said the weight difference is too much, they wanted to drain the old man and fight me 20lbs UNDER the cruiser weight limit for the title Plus a rehydration clause. Canelo let’s give the fans what they want to see and fight David Benavidez

Team Canelo wanted to fight Badou Jack for the CW title at 180lbs AND impose a rehydration clause too. The shamelessness of this guy

How many Jack Ryder's are the left for Canelo to face?

    It was never on.

For what it's worth, I rate Ryder higher than Jack.

So he wants Jack to be at 180 lbs and have a rehydration clause. Clenelo think everyone is willing to sell their soul and dignity for money.

What a clown. Fight Benevidez or get off the pot.

It was never a realistic option for September because of the weight disparity. I think if Canelo wants to attempt to win a title at Cruiserweight it should be at the end of his career, when he doesn't have to worry about coming back down in weight after. Realistically Canelo would need time to put on that kind of weight and it wouldn't be smart to do that while he's Undisputed at 168 because then he'd have to come back down. We saw what happened to RJJ when he moved up to HW then came back down. It's just too much stress on the body especially for a guy that already has stamina problems. 175 is one thing, 180-190 is much crazier. Canelo really needs to focus on defending his Undisputed at 168, unless Bivol agrees to a rematch at 175 (doesn't seem like he will) or Canelo really wants to risk it against Beterbiev at 175. Those are the only 2 fights north of 168 that really make sense that would be worth the risk to put on weight.

Trying to force a 200 lb champion to 180 lbs AND a rehydration clause is just disrespectful.

The thing is, Jack called out Canelo so he's got the right to put his terms on it.

I mean, Jack did call out Canelo, if he doesn’t want a career payday then he can earn those half million checks fighting in Jake Paul’s undercards.

I highly doubt they were asking Jack to weigh 180. That was surely part of coming to the conclusion that the weight difference is too much. Canelo wants to win a Cruiserweight belt, but he should do that when he is older, when he has already slowed down, when he is about to retire, when he can put on weight and challenge at the full limit without having to worry about coming back down afterwards. I could see his last ever fight being at Cruiserweight, but to do it while Undisputed at SMW is just crazy.

The icing on the cake would be if John Fury demanded a public apology.

Man this is a new low for the marmalade hair giant toad. He knows Jack has Saudi money behind him and that Clenelo money is peanuts compared to Saudi money and thus he cannot outbid them for control of the judges

He wanted to fight Jack for the CW title at 180lbs and also slap a rehydration clause on him? The same guy who was allegedly going to fight the guy Jack beat to win the belt? Are you kidding me?!

Benavidez has always been the logical opponent, hopefully they will fight this September in a mega fight!

Exactly Double D. Canelo doesn't even need Jack, if Jack doesn't want to do it, he's a grown man, enjoy your bareknuckle boxing in the future.
