Jesus, far too soon for Morrell. He's gonna get hurt bad if he takes this. Don't think either should be taking this fight right now, it's also high risk little reward for Bena.
But their ages are 25 and 26, about the same size, and Morrell had 54 amateur fights. This seems to be the perfect time for them to meet, but I agree with you that Morrell hasn't really earned it yet. Benavidez obviously has supreme confidence to "give" this fight to Morrell. It is a very dangerous fight for both guys. This could easily be the fight of the year. And, of course, Canelo is licking his chops to see these two warriors meet prior to him granting them a fight. They could do serious damage to each other.
This would be a great fight between 2 top level fighters in their prime. I see it as 60/40 for Benevidez.
