Why Usyk is so inactive ? Not a good look for him. He only been fighting like once per year since he moved up to HW.
I'd rather see him fight Sanchez, Ruiz, Ortiz, Whyte, Wilder, Joyce, Zhang, Parker - All of them would be more interesting than a one sided boxing lesson from Usyk on a Takam level fighter.
Lol. Dubois would mix it with all those guys other than Wilder and Zhang. Usyk Whyte/Ruiz/Parker would be ****.
Dubois struggled against Lerena ffs. He has no notable wins unless you wanna consider ***** tits Bryan has a good win. Bryan and Lerena wins = Title shot lol both would get KO'd by Chisora.
Probably because of the war. I think part of the reason Fury does not want to fight Usyk is because he does not want to become a ploy in the Ukrainian propaganda machine. It’s not the political correct thing to say, no one is willing to say it, but I think that’s what it is. The Dubois fight is supposed to be on Ukrainian Independence Day or something like that. That’s cool and all but Dubois is obviously being brought in to lose.
It's the WBA regular belt dissolution fight. So there will probably be some natural disaster, terrorist attack, new pandemic, steroid thing, political revolution, alien invasion, etc. to prevent it days before it's due to take place. If not, the result will be disputed or a controversial draw.
He did struggle yes but KO'd him the next round, Parker Ortiz Ruiz Whyte all these guys have had their shots and are over the hill.....it's time someone new got a shot. Ruiz has had 2 fights in nearly 4 years, that isn't deserving. Ortiz is 44 years old..... Parker's last decent win came about 7 years ago. Whyte struggled against Franklin and lost twice in his last 4 fights. We can all make cases against.
Erm because like I said 1 month ago it makes no sense. It's not a viable fight for the risk reward given Usyk has just sat out for 14 months to secure Saudi money People don't read between the lines very much do they? parrot nonsense like hurrr durrr Fury duck Usyk hurr durr! 0 braincells. That belt will stay with Usyk no matter what. They ain't stripping him over a crappy mando.
It's an awful fight and sad that Usyk is allowing Fury to play him like a fiddle. The undisputed title is worth something to both guys, but Usyk is the one doing all the work to maintain it. He should give Fury an ultimatum and let him know he's not going to do any mandos - it's now or never for the undisputed. Usyk is too old to be fighting lousy mandatories. I agree with the poster above that all of these guys are just waiting for the Saudi marbles to fall into place.
Will the nuthuggers who are so fond of Usyk switch teams after Dubois kos their hero? Will we hear saudi this fury that p4p regarding Dubois or is this nuthugging based on race or nationality?
Some people have very selective memory if doesn't suit their agenda. Funny question of why Usyk is so inactive. And one of the main reason for that is Tyson Fury. Usyk was on a standby and waiting for Anthony Joshua vs Fury Undisputed to happen, which cost a lot of time of AJ and Usyk career, just for Fury team very convenient to understand that the so call Wilder team that doesn't "stand/have a leg" to, rematch was ordered by the jury. People loves to forget the ultimate time waster Fury. Who wasted Klitschko 1+ year of his career in inactivity. But it wasn't just that. When Usyk beats AJ for the first time. There were negotiation that last for quite some time, and ALL SIDE was happy with a step aside, that again SAUDI was paying. Team Fury agreed to the fight, just for Fury to come out and say that he WANTED a warm up with Whyte .... Then Usyk rematched AJ. And the supposed Undisputed was supposed to happen at February/March, and this is by Team Fury, which they said they wanted December 3rd, cause they wanted Undisputed early in the year. Just for Fury team to duck Usyk once again rejecting the 60m. Saudi offer, and Fury wanting more than the entire pot would have been. Then the famous Wembley saga. So the thing that is on your shoulder is not just for "fashion" reason, but to actually think with that head. And if that wasn't enough, there was COVID that hit hard the Boxing world + Usyk country was invaded. And when Usyk switched to HW, he struggles with injuries. It's not a coincidence that Gassiev suffer from all kind of injuries as well when he moved from CW to HW.
Muhahhaha, where was your passion when Fury fought Chisora for a third time, or one of his "all mighty" opponent before that? Where was your disappointment then? Dubois is better fight than most of this fighters anyway. The guy has all the power + is very, very young, and it's hungry. Whyte chin is long time gone, and he is washed as hell. Ruiz is highly inactive and has all kind of family issues. Did you seriously mention 40 years old Ortiz? Zhang has a rematch with Joyce, or you forget about that one? And none of you were talking about Zhang before he beat Joyce. Parker was good boxer, a long time ago, when he still had a title in his hands. Nowadays he is Fury cheerleader. The moment Parker decide to goes with his buddy and train with him, his career become a joke. As far as Sanchez goes, as he is solid name, why are Fury not fighting him, as Sanchez was the first to call Fury out, on his pathetic challenge on Twitter? He is number 4 in WBC, and he is after Fury, not Usyk. And while Dubois looked bad in his last fight, and i don't think that was an injury, but a very solid temple shot which took his legs away. This is the risk in the HW division. And that fight was rigged ***. But again everyone had bad nights. And pretty much everyone of the suggested fighters you mention have more than just 1 bad nights in their career. But again Dubois is at least very young gun with plenty of motivation and hunger, unlike most of the name you mention.
Before the war ? He fought Bellew in 2018 and then he is fighting once per year at HW. Why is he getting a pass for that ? He said that he was very tired from that WBSS. He would be very bad in the past eras, if he gets tired from fighting every 5-6 months.
