Zhilei Zhang: “I’m A Bigger Threat To Tyson Fury Than Deontay Wilder”

Wouldn't care if Fury never boxed again.

 

For 6-7 rounds.

 

That Fury will wait till Zhang is 45, and then maybe consider fighting him, but demands 99-1 split, and say that Zhang is ducking him.

Fury could already fight him, but decide to ducks him too.

 

He could very well KO Fury. Just because Wilder is terrible boxer, and when Fury was hurt he was throwing his usual windmills that work against D level driver bus, doesn't mean that Fury is somehow invincible.
He was hurt multiple time by a lot lesser punches, even feather fisted bum in Otto Wallin hurt him in the 12 round, and Fury needs to grap, hold for the good amount of the round.

Also all we know about WIlder power is that it's work on glass chin bums.
So Fury could very well be hurt, dropped, and then stopped, by a proper boxer, or someone who has a decent killer instinct and knows how to get his man out of there, once being hurt.

 

I think he is aswell due to his Southpaw stance and lazer like straight left hands. Zhang definitely throws better correct punches than Wilder, and would probably be able to land more frequently on Fury due to that.

Zhang is kind of like Corrie Sanders but not as fast, it's a pity this fight won't ever happen though unfortunately.

 

Also, Zhang also has pretty good defense until he gasses. He has the best guard at HW right now, I'd say. He'd have chances for sure. It'd be a nice fight to make.... after Fury vs Usyk

 

Zhang is in any case a more dangerous and better fighter than Wilder, Wilder would never be able to beat Joyce the way Zhang did. A fight with Fury would be great and Zhang has the best rights to that fight.

 

Zhang to me is the most deserving contender for a title shot at the moment.

 

Big Bang is very adept at picking off jabs and countering.

 

Honestly yeah, some people might think it's a silly idea but I've been thinking this awhile. Fury's chin isn't terrible but he's shown he can be put down. He's got excellent recovery skills though and is able to tie up his opponents to get even more recovery time.

Wilder, whose boxing skills are downright awful, was able to put Fury down multiple times. His problem was he got over eager and started swinging wildly (more so than usual), wasting energy on punches that didn't land. The best qualities about Zhang are that he tends not to waste punches and he's sneaky when he throws. If he was able to put down Fury, he'd be able to follow up on it. He's also big enough that Fury would probably have problems tying him up and pushing him around to get some recovery time.

Not saying for sure it'd happen, and if they ever did fight I'd probably expect Fury to win by decision, outside of Zhang scoring several knockdowns. But Zhang is a very real threat and probably much more than Wilder.

 

Fury would dance circles around Zhang.

 

By then Fury himself will weigh 450 pounds and will have had to have had his nose surgically removed.

 

The only threat to Fury is rolling his ankle in training camp for Usyk.

 

He'd be a very dangerous opponent for Fury were it not for his age and stamina issue.
