There is a reason why some fighters do not fight hard punchers

I think Riddick Bowe avoided big punchers in 90s, i know he fought Hide but he was much smaller and a blown up Cruiserweight.

 

I meant Spence fought Danny Garcia, who is a good puncher.

 

I think Brook who fought Spence, although damaged, was a lot better than the version who fought Crawford. He believed he could win (was close to 50-50 at the bookies) and did actually land some decent stuff on Spence. Against Crawford, that confidence wasn't there and he at best hoped rather than believed. So I do think the OP overstates the chin issue, even though I do agree with the more general point that Spence wouldn't absorb a 12 round beating.

I do agree that Crawford is going to beat Spence nonetheless, and Crawford has a mean streak so if it's one-sided in his favour it doesn't go 12 rounds.

Conor Benn is the first one who comes to mind. Smaller fighters, over the hill that are not noted as punchers is his mo.

 

Spence is going ro beat the hell out of Crawford.

Well who wants to be knocked out or deal with that? I remember Bramble saying his coconut head could not be cracked after Mancini and then he fought Rosario and the magazine said Bramble's coconut head turned to custard.
