I like Haye, but he should avoid Wlad for a bit.

Regardless of which of these slow ass heavy weights he fights, it'll be like a scene from THE MATRIX!

I would like to know the chin authority's ruling on "Iceman" Armannsson's chin - help me out Zakman

He has never been down, or even hurt.

Yeah Carl Thompson was a bum.:patsch A World Champion who had just starched Rothmann with one punch after taking a huge amount of punishment. Let me guess you don't know who Rothmann is either?

Seriously, just because you go on boxrec and you have never heard of someone does not make them a bum. I remember gobshites like you saying Calzaghe was a bum who Lacy was going to destroy.
If you can't be bothered to actually follow the sport outside of your own country then at least do yourself the favour of not making a fool out of yourself by talking about fighters you know nothing about.

Wlad lost to Purrity, that is a far lower tier fighter, but it did not stop him going on to achieve what he has. Hopkins lost his first ever fight against a total nobody, Margarito lost 2 of his first 10 professional fights and Pacman was KO'd by a complete nobody on the Filipino domestic scene.

Haye was gassed and stopped on his feet by an ex World Champion with a big punch and an ability to soak up huge punishment and come back. And who was coming off a big KO win. Haye as a novice with only 10 fights took the challenge, and lost.
He came back stronger from the loss, dedicated himself more to training so he would not gas and has improved greatly as a fighter since.

Just like all the other guys I mentioned with losses early on.

So what exactly was your point?

You're wasting your time. I have repeatedly asked him the same. Name the guys who class as "decent heavys". He wont. Because he wants to be able to shout "Told you so" the moment Haye loses and provided he never puts down who he classes as "decent" he can dismiss every victory Haye might have at Heavy and then crow about being some boxing guru the first time he loses.

    here, here Strike!

Haye hasn't done anything to warrant the criticism he gets, apart from being non-American I suppose. His chin isn't suspect, he's been wobbled and knocked down but never KO'd and what's wrong with that anyway? Cruiserweights do hit pretty hard!

I can see him getting a proper belt by end of next year. Hope so anyway.

Haye's a very good fighter with plenty of power and speed and there's much to like about him, but a good set of whiskers he does not have.
He was knocked down and ALMOST OUT by a SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT.:yikes.........His chin is VERY suspect, indeed!

We are lucky. Imagine if Mormeck had been in his prime against Haye ? He wouldn't have been exhausted after 4 or 5 rounds and we would have missed many interesting threads on the forum !

    First class all the way

I don't know what peoples problems are, an exciting fast, skilled heavy handed former undisputed cruiserwieght champ moving up to heavy its like all our dreams awnsered.

Do you think things would be diff if he was from the good old usa ?
