So obviously Caleb plant is a throw back, he fights murderer's row (Canelo then benevidez, and THEN wanting to avenge those defeats!)

How would he have done in the last 12- 15, maybe even ten years ago? For example, what if Hopkins wanted to move up in weight, how would he have fared at smw against plant? How would the crazy Mayorga have done if he maxed out at 168 vs plant? And then what about el Feroz? He had such a hard time to make jr middleweight.

Then the heavy hitters: how well would Trinidad, de la Hoya, and Mosley, and Wright would have done?

I think it would be an interesting era where Caleb could be the guaging point for most when wanting to move up in weight past middle weight. But the only other question is: which one of those smaller fighters would have wanted to fight him?

For money? Could Caleb offer them a payday?
Fame? Would it enhance their legacy?
Challenge? Does Caleb even hold belts at his weight right now?
A tune up? Before moving up to light heavyweight?
Or legacy? Another weight class to grab a trinket...

    What do y'all think?

Plant has the potential to outbox some of the best people near his weight class, but will gas out in the end anyway.
