I was gonna say as someone who practices regularly I've always found that I lost my speed and snap whenever I tried putting on muscle mass. I'm a naturally really light guy so even a few kilos of weight affects my punching potential majorly. My chest is definitely my least developed part of my body (I have a natural inward sloping of the upper chest that makes it look smaller than it is), but I know I generate a lot of power just from the biomechanics of my punches, the added weight actually detracts from it.
If it's 45 + 45 + the bar (45), that's not too bad considering his weight. It's not great but he can easily improve. That's not his max though. He did two reps. Max is how much you do for one rep.
Kevin Durant is weak offensively? He doesn't get bullied, this isn't a basketball forum but he's probably the most complete scorer of all time. So what if he's weak? His boxing equivalent would be like...Tommy Hearns. That is awesome.
I think you misread my comment. I didn't say he's weak offensively, I said that that's his biggest offensive weakness. And yeah come playoff time he gets bothered by physical defenders on account of him being weak. Same with Steph.
WTF is Beterbiev doing there? and why does he allow that pathetic attempt to go out on social media? - embarrassing. That weight is about 50 pounds above his max as he wasn't even close to making the lift. Some strength coaches have no business working with boxers.
