Both are tall, lanky guys with great power, but that is it. Bob is one of the greatest 175 pounders ever. Deontay is not one of the greatest heavies ever. Bob was a helluva boxer. Deontay is not.

 

Agree 100 percent. Corrales was actually far better skilled than Wilder. The way he was taken apart by top of his game Mayweather Jr. Gets him underrated by some. Personally I see it as just how great May Jr. Was at Jr.lightweight.

 

Corrales was weight drained against Mayweather he failed to make the weight twice I believe, although I don't think it mattered much in the outcome.

Besmanoff fought 2 top lhvy punchers in Durelle and Moore neither stopped him,and no other light heavies ever did
