    Unreal! Feel bad for Ortiz and I hope this doesn't end up ruining his career but if this is due to him no longer being able to make 147, and it appears that way, this fight doesn't need to be postponed it needs to be cancelled for good and he needs to move up to 154.

    I feel bad for Stan and this is really not fair on him. He's only fought once in 2 years now or just under and he's already been screwed around by the WBA and Spence and had to step aside twice I think now waiting for his shot at the later. I wouldn't sign to fight Ortiz again if I were him and he deserves compensation for this.

    Man I was looking forward to that one, during a good day of fights. No doubt a major factor now when booking him into matchups. Hope he ends up alright

    Gutted. Was looking like an awesome month for boxing and a peach for WW in particular. Still not looking too bad at all though.

    Was really looking forward to this fight. Ortiz should be banned for this bull****. If he can't make 147 then stop holding up other fighters plans. I feel bad for Stan as this has happened again.

    UFC just ain't boxing though. Can't get into it with anywhere near the same level of interest or enthusiasm. Don't know why but I can't. Boxing holds something special.

    Looking at the big picture, it was no coincidence that Ortiz vs Stanionis was scheduled on the same day of July 8th as Boots Ennis vs Villa. My guess is the powers to be were hoping to make an Ortiz vs Ennis fight if both fighters won and according to book makers they both were/are expected to win.
    Ortiz is far from done he just needs a better team around him it appears. And if he has to move up in weight then this might be the best thing for him. Or maybe catchweight.

    You're insane if you think Oscar was gonna throw Vergil in with Boots. Boots would ruin him, and Oscar knows that full well.
