I saw some footage of him doing straight leg sit ups, pushups and using pulleys while punching. In his book he mentions the importance of shadow boxing and actual sparring. I think he also mentions diet in his book.

Drop the money on Pollack's book. He goes into the early training camps a bit.

“sparring and hitting the bags is the key to developing punching power. For conditioning, you need roadwork, skipping rope, and Calisthenics, I believe also in flexibility work using wall pulleys, and by doing "push-ups" from the floor.”

“A fighter should avoid heavy exercises like weight-lifting, for they tend to make him muscle-bound."

He did sprints to build his legs early on, with his brothers, so I’m not sure if he continued.
