Benn cannot get away with anything less than a 2 year ban backdated, otherwise it will throw the testing process into absolute chaos.
Starting to wonder if the UKAD defence is "if you tell us the tests are invalid, tell us how to do valid ones" and suspended until it's decided one way or another. If UKAD can afford to drag it on a bit longer, that is. His advisers surely can't expect to turn up and rubbish years of WADA-standard testing without it being looked into, beyond one individual's hearing?
Which means he's got another 21 months to go hopefully? By that time he'll be irrelevant and ruined his chances of making the PPV money he so desperately wants.
After this past year's legal and "science" bills it's probably more of a need than a want. Which means it'll likely happen under any available jurisdiction.
