Nah you weren't too harsh. Pat is a strange guy and claims to be a trainer who has boxers that could "easily beat" several classic old time boxers without providing any proof. He may be a real trainer, but he's a total blowhard who always has to make bold claims and exaggerations. No point in arguing with him in a classic vs modern thread because he immediately picks the modern guy 99% of the time with rather bizarre reasons. Posters like him are just as strange as hardcore old school fans who think all modern guys are bums.

 

Have a look at past votes regarding moderns vs old timers H2H. There's gAlt right beside another equally esteemed member in this thread voting their little backsides off together

This is a thread because @GotchaHat is developmentally disabled and you can't be mean to those people in 2023.

 

A shot Kovalev who threw 90% jabs with little power behind them was the largest opponent Canelo beat. It's not just about the size, it's that Canelo hasn't truly gone in there with guys the size of Rocky who will actually hit him back with no fear to prove he'd be effective at that weight.

If he had the balls to fight Beterbiev and won, that would at least tell us something.
