There should be another choice in the poll:

"Viewers fall asleep before fight finishes"

This fight will be an absolute SNOOZEFEST. Wlad will be slap-jabbing for the first 6 rounds and Povetkin will not be near aggressive enough to throw anything. Wlad will finally throw the first of his 5 total power punches in the 7th and will never really hurt his man. The fight goes to the scorecards where Wlad wins a UD on 2 of the judges cards. The 3rd judge falls asleep in the 8th, thus eliminating his incomplete scorecard.

    Bank on it. :yep

Wlad has never slap jabbed an orthodox fighter only the Southpaws. You don't even know what you are talking about.

I am in the camp that this fight doesn't happen.

I think Povetkin's camp will outprice themselves and force Wlad to go in a different direction.

Povetkin is good, but I think they understand that he just isn't ready for Wlad yet.

I agree. I get the feeling we might see Wlad against the winner of Valuev/Ruiz in December. Especially if it is Valuev.

Straight hating. If you follow boxing, you know damn well how he earned this title shot, and he beat two pretty good fighters to get there in Byrd and Chambers. As sad as the state of the HW division is, I can't think of anyone with a stronger resume over the past year (wins over Donald, Byrd and Chambers) who doesn't already hold a belt (and even that's debatable - the beltholders have faced pretty weak competition as well, IMHO).

I personally rate Povetkin higher than I rated Ibragamov at the time he and Wlad fought.

Wlad will walk right through Povetkin.

AP matches up horribly with Big Bad Wlad.

He is there to be hit and Wlad can hit with the best of em.

Wlad clubs AP to death in under 6.

Povetkin is too green, he is not ready yet. I am not even interested in seeing this one. There is really a russian invasion in the heavyweight division. I take Klitschko by KO. The only real threat to Klitschko is Sam Peter. I also think that Peter is much better for boxing than Klitschko who just takes such long time off after every fight. I mean, he hardly takes any punishment at all and is in the prime of his career but he is so inactive that it is frustrating.

I can bet it would be more exciting than the slow motion contest between Peter and Maskaev.
