Lerrone Richards vs Zach Parker possible for the Summer

I only just noticed Richards is fighting in Leicester tomorrow night against 17-71 journeyman Harry Matthews.

 

Is it on 5, Fite or anything else?

What happened to this? There was supposed to be a double-header in Derby featuring Zach Parker and Ekow Essuman?

 

How’s Richards signed for Matchroom, won the IBO title then ended up on YouTube.

Not saying the IBO is worth anything btw but it was a decent win over Gongora.

 

He was offered a fight against Ali Akhmedov whose only defeat was to Gongora as co-main event to Canelo GGG III and turned it down as he saw it as a step down. I understand where he’s coming from but can’t see why he turned down such a big opportunity especially since he has a terrible style to watch and sells no tickets so won’t be getting any big slots in the UK.

Very talented fighter whose career has gone down terribly after beating Gongora unfortunately.

 

Despite being a very credible fight, Parker v Richards is such a terrible stylistic fight, I am assuming Frank got cold feet with the offer or something.

Not sure what they are going to do with Parker tbh. They will need to sort something soon though as Heaney, Essuman v Scarf and maybe the kid from Notts they like, Ezra Taylor all from that region need to get a card to land on

 

I wouldn’t bend over backwards for him the way he jacked it in against Ryder.

If I was QP I would do Parker v Heffron in the Birmingham /midlands area and hope Mark wins, so I can get rid of him after the Ryder quit job.

They can build a nice card with local fighters like Nathan Heaney, Essuman v Scarff etc

 

I saw lerrone a few week ago at the Dalton Smith weigh in, he looked massive. Can't see him having a fight on the horizon.
