From what I've seen of both ill probably go Hrgovic late stoppage after some competitive early rounds.
McKean has been getting in a lot of quality sparring with top heavyweights, while Hrgovic has not. Although I do expect Hrgovic to win, and upset win by the big southpaw would not shock me.
Hrgovic will win comfortably in the end due to a difference in levels, but McKean will be up for this and will put up a better fight than most think. With all due respect, McKean is not very good but is going to come 101% ready and prepared.
McKean goes into this with everything to gain and should leave it all in the ring. But this is levels above where he has been before and he is unfortunate to be getting Hrgovic on the rebound after his scare against Zhang (which many thought he lost including myself). McKean may be awkward enough to stay in it for a handful of rounds but I can't see him causing the upset. Hrgovic by mid round stoppage.
Well, it should be a Hrgovic stoppage. Mckean is a southpaw like Zhang but lacks Zhang's power. Hrgovic, who knows that he is no scientific wizard, will just outland him like he did Zhang, but without the power to keep him honest, Hrgovic will just grind him down and get him out of there. That is, unless Hrgovic takes one of his little ring naps, where he is clearly thinking of being at the beach or his favorite restaurant and he is getting punched in the face. Then is just becomes a heavyweight waltz to the distance.
Look. If Zhang couldn't KO Hrgovic, there is no way McKean can do more than tickles. And McKean won't win on points since he can't keep Hrgovics power for 12 rounds. He will try to hug but Hrgo is stronger and as you can see, he's working hard on uppercut bombs ins his camp. After max. 6 rounds, the Croatian will be able to end it whenever he wants. He probably will try to collect more rounds, like he always does. 99/5 that Hrgovics wins My prediction: TKO in the 7th
