Could DW beat Chisora prime for prime? Of course he could, Williams was incredibly erratic, yet he was also extremely talented, he just wasn't consistent enough, unlike Chisora, who is generally always what he is, a durable tough plodder

wtf?? Fat Andy would beat Williams all over the ring. The bodybuilder would have him doing the chicken dance from Runde 1.

Chisora was a far more sturdy, consistent & reliable boxer and would always grind out a win against Williams imo.

There are levels to this game son, and Williams was never above British/Commonwealth level.

Fat Andy couldn't beat a lot of opponents all over the ring: shot Kevin Johnson, shot Liakhovich, shot Arreola (dropped by him), Zumbano Love, Godfrey (who?), Lawrence, Parker. Probably more. I swear some people's only recollection of Ruiz is the Joshua fight.

Williams proved how "sturdy" he was when he went 8 hard rounds with prime Vitali Klitschko being dropped a handful of times. The Klitschko Chisora went the distance with was a shell of that Klitschko, eight years later and after the knee injury. I highly doubt Chisora would have gone eight rounds with that Klitschko considering his head was boxed off the whole night, but for some reason Chisora always gets the plaudits. I guess from a lot of wife beating sympathizers, super, super weird, huh. Dude's a loser, Williams is a cool guy for sure.

Danny Williams would comfortably beat Chisora and Whyte. I think AJ would edge it but could go either way. Tyson is far to complete for Williams/

I don't like AJ but it goes without saying he'd beat Danny Williams with ease every time. Williams was never world level, and he never even won a european title either.

I just don't get the argument that Williams was some sort of killer. It's just nostalgia. He lost to Sprott, Francis and was destroyed by Sam in his prime. He was only 33 when he lost to matt skelton (who is older than him) and was stopped in 3 by Harrison. Ruiz is a much better fighter then any of these in my opinion. He was a decent British level fighter. I am no fan of AJ but he is well above that. I also think a prime Chisora conistent pressure would overwhelm him down the strench. I also pick Whyte over Williams.
