Spence is not the same fighter

Looked fine vs Ugas though. No excuses though

His speech is alot different but I think that has to do partially with his veneers tbh.

He is shot and he knows it

 

I would favor Bud, to beat any version of Spence.

But I am betting on Bud stopping this damaged Spence.

 

If that version of Spence steps into the ring with Bud he gets knocked out. I feel safer in my prediction of Bud by KO around 8 to 10 rounds

 

I don’t think that Spence performance was that great tbh. Kell was damaged goods by then and still out boxing Spence for large parts of the fight.

 

Neither of them is the same. Both are slightly past prime now. This fight would have been the most interesting 4 years ago. This Floyd - Pac type of matchmaking is garbage and it ruins boxing.

 

I agree, his balance seems off and we see some weird steps every once in a while. He's still very good though. The pressure he was applying made Ugas not want to punch at all, he was reduced to a few counters here and there. Spence mixes it up and really slows your body down from hurting you all over. The problem of doing this is that when you come inside like that and go low, you expose yourself for counters upstairs.

Crawford specializes in catching you with stinging punches like that. I remember Crawford getting hurt by Gamboa late in their fight though, so this is a good test to see how he deals with Spence's power which is more accumulation than 1 shot.

 

Oh yea, definitely not from smacking his face so hard against the concrete in one of the craziest car crashes I’ve ever seen.

 

Partially that too. To have walked away with scrapes and some missing teeth instead of being buried in the ground is a miracle.
