A better analysis would be comparing them in their respective primes but weighing the same & keeping their skillsets, strengths & weaknesses the same. So: Who wins at 130lbs Who wins at +200lbs
Okay, I have to respond to this because the exact same thing came up with me and some friends of mine. I was arguing with a friend of mine who thought he could beat me in a fight and told him that I had a clear weight advantage (I'm, like, 30 pounds heavier, and not all of it was muscle but a good amount) and another obnoxiously arrogant friend of mine tried to act like our weight difference had literally no impact on who would win in a fight at all. He doesn't know literally anything about combat sports, but he's the kind of guy who has to be right all the time no matter what, and when he's wrong he'll make up some ridiculous excuse to try and seem smart. Anyways, to try and illustrate my point with an example I asked him who he thought would win in a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson, since Floyd is arguably as or more skilled at fighting than Mike yet much smaller, and he goes Floyd Mayweather, not because he had any idea about boxing at all but because he had already made the argument that weight is irrelevant and has to follow up with his ridiculous logic. I told him he was an idiot obviously, but he was absolutely certain that weight meant nothing in fighting at all. If only I could bring up what you guys said on this thread lol (this happened a pretty long time ago at this point). Thank you for making this thread because honestly, even though he's one of my closest friends, dealing with this guy is infuriating and it makes me feel good to let everyone know how dumb he is, heh.
