I said Hearns easy the other day, now I have a lot of pause for thought! Crawford might be SRL level.
Crawford's definitely in league with the best welterweights ever. I wouldn't know who to pick among them though.
Crawford could actually stop Hearns. He's capable of it. Hearns is a great fighter and has all the physical advantages. But he could be hurt and Crawford is an incredibly sharp pumcher.
I just don't see it. Crawford could hurt Hearns, but Hearns is just soo much longer, and is very capable of hurting Crawford aswell. Crawfords jab would be pretty useless against Hearns'. Hearns could also get up on his feet and stick and move unlike the always rather slow footed Spence. He's faster with his hands than Crawford despite being so much bigger Crawford would be unable to outbox Hearns and if he tried to press him he'd probably get his face jabbed into oblivion and then be iced by a Hearns right hand
Crawford by the kind of savage ko that you would usually see out of Hearns. He'd be too hard to hit clean early and when the fight went into the back half, the pressure would start and Hearns would wilt. It could be a really ugly finish.
