That was a terrible thing to watch. Don't ever want to see a fighter take hellacious punishment like that. I know he's the boss, but Derrick James and his father were assholes for letting Spence get in the ring so deathly drained. I understand that titles were on the line, but the fight should have been at 154 where Spence still would have lost, but he wouldn't have taken so much damage and at full strength, he could have maybe hurt Crawford bad with a shot.

Crawford was just doing his job. Hes supposed to punch the opponent as hard as possibly can. Spence was in with a better fighter and couldnt defend himself.

Why was Spence fighting as though he was trying to go for the KO the entire fight? Should have just stick and move

Spence wasn't drained. He fought the same way he always does.

OP is just trying to take shine off of Crawford's win so that, as ever, he can boost Inoue ahead of Crawford PfP. Don't fall for it. ...

I thought it was great to watch. Epic night of fights. I even watched some UFC which I never do.

Maybe it is the camera angles but Spence look way more "full" and hydrated in the brook fight:

Unfortunately, I don't think you are going to get much sense out of this forum. That Spence was drained is not a possibility for these guys, the wave of ****-riding and dishing out credit like M&Ms is high at the moment.

Being drained aside - this fight would have been way more competitive 3 years ago.

I agree, Spence was just “tired”…tired of getting punched in the face and not being able to land power shots on his opponent. His loss had nothing to do with car wrecks or weight loss. Crawford had amazing footwork and showed elite versatility and skill in the ring. From the second round until the end, Crawford dominated the bigger younger Spence.

Earl should quit boxing and take a shot at race car driving. He has a better chance of winning the Indy 500 than beating Crawford in a boxing match at ANY weight. Complete domination.

Yeah we get it, Spence was really drained and so the victory means nothing and thus Inoue is p4p no. 1...

Seriously, it’s not that big of a deal. The OP is a fanatic and is freaking out. Crawford doing his thing as usual takes no shine away from Inoue.

Right. It must be exhausting to be such a defensive fanboi. It's okay for other fighters to get mentioned as PfP ahead of your guy. This was a great week for Crawford *and* Inoue, but that's not good enough for the OP who demands that everyone acknowledge Inoue's transcendence.

Anyone one with a half brain knows Spence is not the same guy he was back in 2017-2018. That was his peak.

It's a shame really - since then Spence has looked extremely vulnerable. Getting rocked by Ugas and Garcia and those negative reactions to punches. He's actually looked drained for a while. Whether it's the crash or the weight who knows. I do think he should move up
