Hopkins, Mayweather, and Crawford put on a stellar performance over the age of 35 against a highly rated fighter that was also unbeaten at the time. Which win do you think was the most impressive in your opinion? And yes I know that Mayweather technically beat Canelo by “majority decision” but we all know that doesn’t reflect the actual outcome.
When i think of "masterclass", the first fight that comes to mind is Hopkins/Trinidad. He showed a little bit of everything that night.
Crawford. Hurt him with every punch, knocked him down 3 times, Spence face was a mess, "stop the fight" was trending for several rounds before the tko which are words you never wanna see about a guy with Spence skill, etc. Nostalgia will blind people, but Crawford's victory had everything and more
Crawfords win is the best. While maybe not the greatest opponent, the overall significance and dominance was more impressive. This was a fight years in the making with both beating all other relevant opponents up until the fight. Crawford beat the hell out of Spence in one of histories greatest displays of boxing
Crawford/Spence was more impressive than Hopkins Trinidad as Crawford was actually the smaller man in the ring.
I picked Mayweather-Alvarez since Alvarez would make one of the greatest runs in boxing after the loss. Hopkins was simply too big for Trinidad and Spence isn't as great as Canelo.
