The Winky Wright who schooled Trinidad would have been a very hard fight for Crawford IMO.

WW was one of the greatest technicians ever at 154. WW wins bc of size advantage.

    Winky beat the following greats:

    Shane Mosley (Twice)
    Felix Trinidad
    Ike Quartey

And drew with BHop conqueror, Jermain Taylor

I would make all four favourites over Bud at 154.

Because all of them are more proven against top competition.

Styles make fights but beating Mosley twice at 154 eclipse anything Crawford ever did.

Crawford is the better P4P fighter, with a greater legacy, but his expertise is at 140 and 147. At 154, Winky is by far the more proven operator. Crawford only fought once there, and it was a pretty competitive fight against Madrimov, who is underrated, but really not that great in the grand scheme of things. Winky was an amazing 154 fighter, with a strong case as the best light middleweight of the century so far. His style is also completely wrong for Crawford; I think he shuts him out convincingly over 12 rounds.

I tend to favor bud in most of these fantasy matchups 154 and below but in this one I think Id have to go with Winky. Winky was a very big 154lber, and I think his front foot pressure while staying close to Bud, with the size advantage, ramming that jab down the pipe, would do well for him. Not saying its mission impossible for Crawford, but Winky was no slouch and I think he gets the job done.

I think Winky beats Bud and everyone Bud has ever fought.

What a great match up and I think people underestimate Buds ability to process things mid fight but Winky was a handful and defensively sound as well.

Winky by UD. Can’t ignore his body of work at 154 as well as the fact that he’s defensively sound.
