Why is Ruiz seemingly reluctant to fight his stablemate Deontay Wilder? Yet he is willing to step in the ring with AJ for a third time on one weeks notice. Is it the fact an even more faded version of Arreola who Wilder played with dropped Andy Ruiz in a twelve round war?

Seems that PBC wants to marinate those fights still even though I think Wilder vs Ruiz is already over-marinated.

I have sympathy for Ruiz Jr on this one. A few weeks back his side were calling for 50-50. Wilder wanted to have an A-side split.

Wilder's best wins: Ortiz and Stiverne
Ruiz's best wins: Joshua and Ortiz

Wilder stopped twice in his last three.
Ruiz outpointed once in his last three.

    Wilder brings the PBC hardcore.
    Ruiz brings the Mexican crowd.

They both won their eliminator, and this is a final eliminator.
I don't know why the WBC haven't sent this to purse bids as a 50-50 fight. So, I can see why Ruiz would jump at the chance to make money against Joshua if Wilder is set on playing A-side while the WBC sit on their hands.

Because Wilder would KO Ruiz fairly quickly. See too many people think that's a 50/50 fight and I just don't get it lol

Scared of Wilder but willing to fight Joshua? That doesn't make sense.

Like Whyte being scared of Tyson Fury? Audley Harrison would have been proud of Whyte's performance that night.

I think there is just too much bull**** going on behind the scenes before a fight gets made. And with the Joshua fight only one week out he will take that if he can get it. Better one bird in hand then two in the air.

Wilder's scared of Ruiz, he's pricing himself out.

Because he's already beaten AJ once before, and the second fight was a tactical loss, not a physical beatdown. Also, AJ has lost twice more and is mentally weaker than he's ever been.

Ruiz probably knows he's not mobile enough to evade Wilder's bombs. AJ is definitely the easier of the two for Ruiz.
