Nobody was going to the fight because of Whyte. The reason it was Whyte in the first place was because he was risk free and would make Joshua look good.

Helenius is a far more interesting fight for me than Whyte. Yeah he's shot and was ruined about 10 years ago with injuries but at least he has actual stopping power. Whyte has nothing to trouble Joshua.

Surely Campbell Hatton should be headlining this.

A better prep fight for Wilder given his height and reach compared to that of Whyte.

Still expecting AJ via KO in the mid rounds (6-8).

Interesting how a few years ago there were never negative comments on Eddie's stuff on twitter. Now he gets panned regularly

    Helenius has no chin.

Seen a caption there of Eddie lauding the Kownacki win. Kownacki is the definition of a pudding.

Helenius is an even less interesting opponent than any of the ones previously mentioned

how is he going to get rid of him quicker than Wilder? he’s guaranteed to look bad in comparison

Poor fight for me, albeit there are mitigting circumstances.

I think Whyte would have posed more problems as he's shorter and less orthodox, there is some spite and history in the fight and AJ would have had more chance of straying from the gameplan and/or getting hurt. Dillian is not a bigger volume puncher but is a more explosive puncher with his left hook so there was more danger in that fight for Joshua.

A tall, orthodox fighter where AJ can box and move and put the combinations together later on will not cause him many problems.

Obviously Helenius is a good 8-10 years past his very best too..

It's been quite entertaining the Jordan v Hearn showdown on talkSPORT just now. :boxing1
