Yup he went as I predicted. Gave a good account if himself and won a few rounds. Deserved to see it out and go down on the cards but sadly wasn't meant to be.

I realise even more now the quality Liam Wilson possesses . To knock Navarette down and perform so well and having that bs count go against him, from just a fella so young and not that many fights until his belt, is unreal. Could have easily been a world champion already. Navarette belted Valdes today who is a great fighter and former world champ himself ( one loss before today vs Shakur Stevenson ) makes me see what Liam is, will be and what he missed out on.

Not the first time we've been stiffed in a world title fight.

    Fenech
    Green
    Maloney
    Wilson

    Load of bs.

McKean handled himself pretty well. I reckon Eddie will put him on again he is a decent heavyweight considering todays landscape. Maybe Fabio Wardley v McKean. Domestic fights with Huni or Goodall would be great as well.

McKean vs. Washington or Chisora next would be cool as well. Winnable fights for him.

In regards to the Wilson v Navarette fight and apart from the dramas with the weighin, I think what many people either seem to overlook or forget is that Liam hit Navarette when he had a glove on canvas and this should have resulted in Liam either receiving a warning or being disqualified.
In the fourth round, Liam staggered Navarette and then threw an uppercut whilst Navarette's glove was on the canvas, causing him to tumble and roll. Then the ref started the count.

That's a good call and I must admit that I missed it or forgot about it. It does happen a lot in boxing though and it does get unpunished. But it shouldn't.

Based on this, tough tits for Liam. It goes both ways.

Who in your opinion will be future World Champions from our country?

    I reckon

    Liam Paro
    Liam Wilson
    Nikita Tszyu
    Jackson England

    Nobody on that list.
Tim Tszyu ,Jai Opetaia, Jason Moloney already champions. Kambosos has a good shot of picking up the vacant IBF title, Sam Goodman might pick up a vacant title when Inoue vacates

I would echo this all day long but honestly Navarette looked absolute **** that day. I guess a rematch will be the only way to find out. But still Wilson is quality no doubt

Yeah Wilson is better than I first thought but Navarette looked like a busted ass that day. No doubt Wilson is a big puncher though.

Stan Sport has teamed up with Lonergan and sports promotion company Dynamic ( Horn vs Pacquiao ) for its next PPV event. It is to be held in Townsville a week after the Grand Final . Jason Taumalolo, Junior Paulo and Tevita Pangai Jnr to headline .

Yeah, if the motivated Navarette that we saw on Sunday had fought Liam, I think it would be over more quickly.

Tevitas shown some natural ability. I'd watch him again to see how he goes.
