Wlad fights on regular HBO, not PPV, and HBO is like $12 a month you cheap ****.

I think Wlad wins a UD or late KO, Povetkin shows alot of promise but he's somewhat one dimensional and still relatively untested

It was more exciting than 90% of Wlad's fights. Sorry, but it's true.
Wlad is a very good, technical robot-like fighter. I am saying nothing against the man and his skills. What I am saying is that most of his fights are very boring and when he's up against another boring guy like Povetkin, we could be doomed to sleep. I think there will be about 600 jabs from Wlad and maybe 10 power punches. The guy has got to throw the right more... MUCH more. It's almost like he's afraid of mixing it up.

    Only in Dumbassland.

Wlad knocks upper tier fighters out and has been since 1999.

Peter has one knockout against an upper tier fighter.

Don't talk cause you have no idea what you are talking about.

He earned it by staying undefeated and beating Larry Donald, Chris Byrd and Eddie Chambers within a relatively short time. Both Byrd and Chambers were top 10-ish boxers at the time. That is more than enough to earn a justified title shot these days. A lot of boxers get their shots for having done much less.

Thomspon earned his by beating Timor Ibragimov and Luan Karsniqi, which is far less impressive.

Maskaev earned his by beating Samil Sam.

McCline earned his shots at Byrd and Valuev by ???

You don´t have to watch it if you don´t like it. I´m sure Wlad is not afraid of a rematch with Peter. His tactics are not the most exciting ever but he wins doesn´t he?

He absolutely does. No debate there at all.

Also, no debate as to his skills either. All I am saying, again (for LennoxGOAT) is that Wlad's fights are very boring with little action until he finally decides to throw his right hand. He just isn't an exciting fighter, that's all. I also think Povetkin is similar and thus, we could have a pretty boring fight on our hands. That's all. :yep

Bull****. I thought the Ibragimov fight was boring but it was Iggy's fault more than Wlad's. Iggy just flat out wouldn't fight. That combined with the fact that Sultan is a southpaw & he leaned waaaaay back made for an unexciting jab fest from Wlad.

The Thompson fight was very exciting and I do believe Tony did his best. No other fighter has landed as much punches vs. Wladimir since the Mercer fight. Tony also took some serious punishment leading up to the KO, and that was a fantastic KO too.

The Brock fight was a decent scrap as well. Calvin landed many good body shots and appeared to win a round or 2 before Wlad stepped it up, found his range and lowered the BOOM. Another awesome highlight reel KO I might add.

Seriously, I don't know what you negative boxing fans expect, Klitschko's dominating & winning and barely losing a round in his quest for unification. What more can you ask for? Do you seriously expect him to drop his hands & swing for the fences like some no talent boxer such as Peter? ****, even Peter doesn't fight like that anymore.

You forgot that Tony Thompson also beat Guinn, which was enough for Toney wasn't it? :yep

Really want to see this fight, call me crazy but I'm picking Povetkin by KO/TKO. Big fan of both guys so this should be tough to watch.
