Shavers cause of death

I know people have trends on when Ali should of retired. But seeing Charles in a wheelchair, blinking his eyes, can't MOVE, makes me wonder when Charles should of called it quits?? After the Walcott knockout??? Before the Marciano wars???

 

Y'all see Benitez too? It's sad what happens to a lot of boxers and I do find it tasteless when ppl take them for granted yet claim to love the sport. They risk so much for our entertainment but ofc every boxers case differs. Especially when dealing w how to respond to so many controversial figures but it does pain me to c the ones who appear to have decency suffer.

 

Everyone is subject to Wear and tear in normal life. It is rightly more evident in contact sports. The consequences are clearly higher. Winners. Losers. none are immortal to it. People might be more aware but there are lesser and greater consequences to everything in life. It is important to realise that in this roll of the dice it is the Champions who dish out more punishment than they ever received. It’s tough to comprehend that even champions are not immune. Although they might be the most fortunate within sports. After all The opportunities and advantages that their talent gave them would never have been realised otherwise.

 

He probably shouldn’t have fought so often. He definitely should not have fought 11 times within one year right after the Marciano fights. I respect that Charles needed to make a living, but he could have earned just as well taking less risks. Once a championship career is over there is no need to match him in so many 50-50 fights. There is no point. He fought contender Tommy Huricane Jackson twice in one month. Just crazy.
