I know a lot of us love fitness because it makes us look good and feel confident in our looks, but as men, I feel like a lot of us neglect skincare just because it seems less masculine. What do you guys think about skincare? Do you guys have a skincare routine in general or for post-gym, and what kind of products do you use to take care of your skin?
Beard oil for beard, Vaseline for bad knuckles/ hands. Simple with antiperspirant and a good aftershave/ cologne on depending how willing how much money you want to spend. For wash: I don't discriminate: shampoo/conditioner/ soap, it all gets the job done. Especially when you floss and brush teeth everyday. A skin fade with the guard on zero. Once in a while trim up ears and nostrils. Not too much though. And use the Clippers to get rid of unwanted body hair, lasts a long time lol. That's my skincare in a nutshell!
Stay out of the sun. Dermatologist recommended. If you have a complaint go to a specialist. The doc will guide you in the right direction.
Awesome, the vaseline for your knuckles is smart. Me and my friend are looking to see if there's a market for Men's skincare in fighting/weightlifting. We're 22 years old and just getting started to see if we can build a brand around this. So we would love to know if there's an aspect of your current products that could better or if there is anything you wish you had.
I think with people with beards you can sell them all kinds of stuff lol beard oil, beard shampoo, beard conditioner etc, I know this sounds crazy but when fighters get cauliflower ear they suck it out with a syringe. In my case the doctor shoved it in my ear by needle. I can't remember the name of the medecine, but it made my cauliflower go down significantly. If you could put that in a kit it's safer than draining fluid, jmho.
