Many on here including you have been guilty of diminishing the achievements of the top fighters they don’t like. Loma is and has always been a great fighter. I for one have always said that. Context you say is key but people use context as an excuse. You will note I have never made any excuses for Erroll Spence losing the fight to Terence Crawford. Yes it hurt and it hunts me however EJ makes no excuses so neither will I. Now I know exactly what type of fighter Terence Bud Crawford is and always acknowledged it.Excuses come across as weak and as excuses. All EJ has asked for is the rematch as is his right and he will make it right. People are here seem to think I am a Haney fan which I am not. Yes I respect the brother his skills and achievements but in this weight classes Gervonta Tank Davies is my guy. I respect Josh Taylor, Prograis, Haney, Loma, Kambosos and the gifted Shakur but Tank’s my guy. My point is fighting on foreign soil and neutral judges does not seem a big issue until a fighter loses. You don’t need to argue context because nothing undermines what Loma has already achieved. The first time I saw him fight I knew I was witnessing something special. Eventually if you hang around long enough someone will beat. Not everyone remains unbeaten like Floyd, Andre and Super Joe and you have see many idiots on here try to diminish what they achieved.
By the way that’s a lovely picture of Susan George on your profile. Did you see her sex scene with Kenny Norton in Mandingo? That was something !
I doubt it but Inoue is no joke either. Chances are Tank will knock him out and send him back to Tokyo or Osaka.
I never said I haven't. I enjoy the banter and if the fans of fighters hurl rocks over the fence I hurl them right back with interest FTR, when I first joined this forum I never used to talk bad about any fighters and it was that way for a pretty long time You've picked Loma to lose to everyone and their dog, That's how highly you rate him Context is not excuses You've got fans, and there are countless numbers of them out there on social media, dismissing fighters who are routinely fighting way bigger opponents they're giving away huge physical advantages to, on the road, whilst facing lots of punchers most of whom way bigger than them, and have fought way more champions in way less fights than their favs have, of being ''hype jobs'' And then in their next breath they blow industrial amounts of smoke up the asses of their far less accomplished massive weight bullies favs who are out on leprechaun safari all the time hunting featherfisted leprechauns in their backyards. They're doing two completely different things. That's the context. Olu, when I asked you to tell me who you think would win out of a Loma and Haney who were the same size you were loath to admit Loma would. I had to keep pressing you about it even though Loma is the vastly superior fighter by every metric other than size. That's like saying people only care about road safety when there's been a big accident. Of course people are going to focus on it more after a robbery but I've been beating the drum for a long time about a home ref and three home judges for world title fights in the US between a home and away fighter being extremely unfair because it is and, as said, it's common place over there and nonexistent everywhere else. That's why when Haney fights Kambosos in Australia x 2 all the officials came from neutral countries and ditto for when Fulton fought Inoue in Japan. They never would've agreed to do so if their opponents would've had a stacked deck of home officials.
It is and I have Fright is the movie to watch for fans of prime George, That and Die Screaming, Marianne
No such thing. The top dogs in boxing are the HWs, CWs & LHWs, because they would legitimately beat everyone else .. so that would be Fury , Usyk, Bivol & Beterbiev. Whereas P4P is a concept based on fairytale type thinking. If we shrunk Fury down or blew Inoue up etc.. it's good fun but total nonsense. But then again boxing fans are quite thick, this stuff really occupies them intensely LOL
I reckon she may have had a go at Kenny Norton in real life off screen in her trailer. Which woman can resist a champion heavyweight like that?
I knew Loma would lose to Teofimo because he was wrong for him. It’s not about lack of respect but fighter attributes and I was right. As for Haney he was fighting him at what I would say was the wrong time for him and better time for Haney. Lots of intangibles in that match up so not easy at all to predict because though naturally bigger Haney has been struggling at the weight. I have already shared with you my thoughts on neutral judges and referees and great fighters don’t use them as excuses rather they overcome them. It may not be fair but you know what, the world is not fair. The reason foreigners end up fighting in the USA is for economic reasons. African fighters not just Eastern Europeans end up fighting there and it’s not a level playing field so best to get on with it. Loma was not turning down the American dollars.
