Mayweather. I think Mayweather fights to the level of his opponent and at times is coasting and playing it safe.
If an 8 year past Prime DLH jab gave Mayweather trouble, Prime ODLH kicks the **** out of him ,, another Fight Here Floyd wouldn't take
Oscar on his best night beats Floyd on his. He’s just as good and a lot bigger and overall a physical specimen by comparison, very fast and powerful.
guy on his best day vs guy on his best day (at 135?): great bigger guy beats great smaller guy. floyd might be a little faster and a little smarter. oscar is much bigger and hits much harder. imo, whatever small advantages floyd might possess are outweighed by the fundamental size/strength difference.
Floyd would struggle in the early rounds but keep it competitive. In late round Oscar would tire and Floyd would take over winning a close but clear decision. Floyd's just better then Oscar in terms of skill and Oscar has a habit of tiring in later rounds.
Floyd by decision. I can't see Floyd losing to someone who was predominantly a one handed fighter. On top of that, Oscar would gas later on in fights. It would be competitive but the smarter more skilled fighter would win out.
Oscar wins he took 4 rounds off Floyd and was competitive through out and that was peak Floyd and well past the late 90s version of Oscar. Oscar was bigger and has style to beat Floyd.
I’d have to go with De La Hoya. Look how their actual fight panned out - it was fairly competitive, with Mayweather holding every advantage, sans experience. Ten years & two divisions earlier, De La Hoya was a lot more dynamic.
