You seem to be uninitiated with the kind of style Usyk fights with and how he has subtly adapted it to deal with big plodding one dimensional heavyweights, which Fury really is not. Usyk is in for a world of hurt...

 

Usyk, aided by the ref, stole the Dubois fight. That punch wasn't low, it was a KO by Dubois. Fury will jab him to the belly until he cries and quits.

 

Good luck with doing that to a man a lot taller than you with much longer reach who knows how to use it.

You guys underestimate skills > size. Fury knows thiug. Thats why he he is ducking.

 

Usyk is a crybaby and a softie, Fury will beat him up...

Usyk wins this fight surprisingly easy. His movement and style are all wrong for Fury. Fury hates southpaws.

Also, Usyk isn’t a runner. He will hit Fury with his jab and move to control distance but I wouldn’t call him a runner like late career Floyd. Usyk will try to pressure Fury and not allow him to lean on him. Fury is very skilled and knows every trick. I still favor Usyk to win convincingly but it’s going to be a great fight. That’s why I’m pissed about delays. Boxing needs this one.

 

He’s got to pot-shot and keep moving. Use his slickness and speed to defeat Fury. Will be difficult. He has to fight even better then when he put on a master class in the 1st Joshua fight. Can he do it? Yes, but he’s older and slower now and Fury is way better than AJ. But…Fury is older and slower now too, so there is that…

 

I do think that the size of the ring will play into the negotiations. Not that Usyk is a Sugar Ray Leonard type mover but Usyk would love to have him at close range as much as possible. Even with a smaller ring Usyk is going to be tough to pin down since both his defensive and offensive movement is subtle more than it is dynamic.

 

It's becoming hard to predict this fight as Fury is seen less than bigfoot these days. What condition is he in? As Ray Arcel said, "to rest is to rust" so I'll go with Usyk to outbox him in a less than spectacular fight.

 

I have always favored Fury in this fight, but I agree as time goes on Usyk is staying sharp and Fury is messing around. The needle is starting to move a bit towards Usyk for me but Fury should still be the favorite.
